Public browsing
We do not enable advertising trackers or visitor analytics on the public website by default. Browsing trips or sending an enquiry does not require you to agree to optional tracking.
Your browser may cache website files such as images and styles to load pages efficiently. Hosting and security systems also handle technical request information; this is explained in the privacy policy.
Administration cookies
The restricted administration area uses necessary authentication cookies when authorised staff sign in. They allow the system to recognise an authenticated session and protect access to enquiry and content records. These cookies are not advertising cookies.
Blocking or clearing authentication cookies can sign an administrator out or prevent the administration area from working. Public visitors do not need an administrator account.
Optional video playback
The “Watch Nepal” film stays unloaded until you choose to open it. We do not request the YouTube player or a YouTube thumbnail when you simply browse the page. Playing the film is optional and is not required to use the enquiry service.
Once you choose to play, the privacy-enhanced YouTube player connects to Google and may use cookies or other browser storage. The privacy-enhanced setting limits how views are used for personalisation; it is not a promise of cookie-free or anonymous playback.
You can stop playback and remove the player by closing the film. This does not clear storage that has already been created or withdraw information already sent to Google. Use your browser settings to manage stored data and Google’s privacy controls to manage the choices available for its services.
Optional tools and external links
If we introduce additional optional analytics or embedded services that require consent, they will remain disabled until you actively choose to enable them. We will explain their purpose and provide a way to withdraw that choice before adding them.
Following a link to a map, social network, video or other external website takes you to a service with its own browser-storage rules. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
